Thank you Barbara! That was a very lengthy piece. I had to go back and read my post again to make sure that you are responding to the right post. I really appreciate the time you took to express your feelings and do hope that this post was somewhat cathartic for you. I am the first person to admit how wretched a sinner I am and desperately in need of forgiveness. For this reason I am also very forgiving of others. You seemed to have read too much into my piece and conflated all kinds of issues as a result. My post is about the masterful suborning of Christians by the enemy. These Christians discard God’s command in the name of keeping other scriptural commands. I still don’t understand the function of your distress over a post that calls for Christians to love their neighbors as themselves. The Bible that I read no where incites violence against someone we don’t like. Instead, it calls for us to love our enemies. In my next post I will talk about poverty and what the Christian response should be toward those less privileged. Thank you for commenting on my post. Though I disagree with your comments, I still thank you for writing. I hope that others will have the type of courage that you have and respond. Many blessings!
